Irish People....

Are huggable.

Dream in Green.

Believe in impossible things just long enough to make them come true.

Know the importance of cuddling to keep warm.

Wear freckles where angels have kissed them.

See fairies and leprechauns when no one else does.

Sing songs when they're happy and then sing them even louder when they're sad.

Have the biggest welcome mats in all the world and miss you the most when you're away.

Are the guardians of the little bit of heaven that once fell very gently from the sky.

THE LEGEND OF ST. PATRICK

St. Patrick was a man of God who came to Erin's land With a loving prayer within his heart, a shamrock in his hand. He used the three-leafed shamrock to help all the people see how there could be three persons in the Holy Trinity. And the faith the Irish learned from him today can still be found - a heritage as lovely as the countryside around.

CLADDAGH SYMBOL

This is an age old Irish emblem of faith and affection. The Hands symbolize Friendship. The Heart stands for Love. The Crown symbolizes Loyalty.

All you need to know about life you can learn from a Leprechaun:

Life is too short for long faces.

Expect magic to happen and it will.

If you can't find a  rainbow, paint your own.

The word "impossible" is NOT an Irish Word.

Never walk so tall that you can't see the "wee folk".

If you're feeling blue, wear lots of green, and think hopeful thoughts.

No one ever outgrows the need for a warm hug, special dreams, or a wee bit of mischief.

Quit trying to catch a Leprechaun and just be one!

Have a Happy-Go-Lucky St. Patrick's Day!

IRISH RIDDLES:

Why does a leprechaun wear green suspenders?

To hold his pants up!

Why do people wear shamrocks on St. Patrick's Day?

Real rocks would look funny!

Who drove the snakes out of Ireland?

No one - there weren't any cars back then!

How late do leprechaun kids get to stay up?

Until the wee hours!
